VNC
With VNC, the screen content of a remote computer or panel can be integrated into the AnyViz interface as if you were sitting right in front of it. The Remote Framebuffer Protocol (better known as VNC) also allows the transmission of keyboard inputs and mouse movements, so that remote control is also possible.
Set up VNC
Remote VNC access requires a Universal Cloud Adapter. Open the configuration interface and click on the icon next to VNC pass through and configure the connection as follows.
Host | Specify IP address or hostname of the VNC server. |
Port | Enter the port number if it differs from the default port 5900. |
Password | Enter the password if the VNC server is password protected. |
Read only | Check this box if you want to prevent remote control (mouse and keyboard). |
Integrate VNC
Each VNC connection configured in the Cloud Adapter appears as an symbol in the object tree and must be created - just like any other tag. Then drag the VNC tag into a view.
