AnyViz offers various shapes to help design views and structure different areas: Shapes for designing views

Rectangle
Rounded rectangle
Circle
Line

These shapes can be used, for example, to define borders, create colored backgrounds, or add visual accents. Semi-transparent colors can also be applied, making designs even more flexible and customized.

Tip: For precise editing, function keys like Ctrl (for exact positioning) or Shift (to maintain aspect ratio while resizing) can be used. More details can be found in the view editor.

Flow animation

In addition to common dynamizations like color change or visibility, the line vizual offers a special feature: Flow animation. Various symbols move along the line to visually represent, for example, a flow or data stream. The animation properties are based on the value of a selected tag in relation to a defined maximum value. The following properties can be made dynamic:

Size
Distance
Speed

For each of these properties, minimum and maximum values can be specified. If no maximum value is defined, the property remains static at its minimum value. When both minimum and maximum values are set, the property dynamically adapts to the value of the tag. The color of the flow symbol can also be dynamically changed using the color change feature.
